Maharashtra: Govt To Take Fair, Comprehensive Decision On Finance And Accounts Services Recruitment, Says

Maharashtra Minister Ashish Jaiswal said the government will take a fair, transparent and comprehensive decision on Finance and Accounts Services recruitment.

Students raised concerns about eligibility criteria for Commerce stream candidates and proposed changes to recruitment rules.

Jaiswal directed a committee to examine student demands and submit a revised report with objective feedback.

The Directorate of Accounts and Treasuries was asked to explore greater opportunities for Commerce graduates in Finance and Accounts Services.

The government emphasized merit-based selection and transparency in the decision-making process.
