  1. The Union tribal affairs ministry has asked states to organise Jan Sunwai camps at all operational Adi Sewa Kendras from August 13 to 15.

  2. The 3-day drive aims to expand last-mile delivery of government schemes and services in tribal areas, focusing on Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs).

  3. The Jan Sunwai will be held under the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan, which includes Adi Sewa Kendras (ASKs) and Adi Karmayogi Volunteers (AKVs) to help tribal communities access welfare entitlements.

  4. Camps will be led by district collectors and will include participation from officials of health, education, rural development, and other departments, plus banks and Common Service Centres.

  5. Activities will include registering and disposing of grievances, facilitating applications for schemes, raising awareness, and identifying vulnerable individuals.
