UP aims to drive green investment and innovation through IBET Expo 2026

The Uttar Pradesh government is accelerating preparations for the India Bioenergy and Tech (IBET) Expo 2026, scheduled for August 11-13 at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida.

The expo is organized by the Uttar Pradesh government and UPNEDA in collaboration with the Indian Federation of Green Energy (IFGE).

It will showcase technologies including compressed biogas (CBG), ethanol, biodiesel, green hydrogen, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), waste-to-energy, and other renewable energy solutions.

Energy minister AK Sharma stated that Uttar Pradesh aims to become India's largest centre for energy transition and green investment, leveraging its 17 million tonnes of annual agricultural residue.

The event expects over 25 conference sessions and more than 120 national and international speakers.
