Runde bridge on the Titwala-Falegaon road went completely underwater due to rising water levels in the Kalu river, and has been closed to all vehicular traffic.
Walkas-Vehare bridge has been rendered impassable and shut to traffic for five hours.
An alternative route via Danbav-Khadavli road is open for residents travelling to and from Runde and Falegaon villages.
No casualties have been reported, but multiple trees have fallen damaging vehicles and houses.
