Nike employees divert $2 million in Nike shoes from a Memphis warehouse in a cargo theft scheme

people were charged in a scheme that diverted at least $2 million in Nike shoes from Nike's Memphis logistics centre using unauthorised UPS labels.

The alleged scheme ran from July 2021 to June 2024, with Nike employees placing unauthorised UPS labels on cartons to redirect them to resellers across the US.

Roy Harvey Jr allegedly created UPS labels and operated RHJ Global, receiving 149 labels from Cool Kicks and later creating more; 1,860 labels were used between May 2022 and January 2024.

Keith Cannon allegedly created a UPS account for Valid Kixx, with 459 labels used between April 2023 and January 2024 and about 800 more between April and June 2024.

Michael Perkins, a Nike floor manager, brought unauthorised labels into the warehouse and gave them to employees Julian Baker, Cortez Spencer, Roderico McClellan, and Damon Johnson.
