Paresh Rawal Breaks Silence on OMG 2 Controversy, Seeks Idea Credit Not Money

Paresh Rawal clarified he has no disagreement with Akshay Kumar over OMG 2 and only wanted recognition for the original story idea, not money or writing credit.
Rawal said he declined OMG 2 because he was uncomfortable with using religious characters to discuss sex, though the film was a commercial success with Pankaj Tripathi.
He stated that the initial concept of a film on sex education came from his discussions with writer-director Amit Rai, but he never claimed to be the writer of the screenplay.
Rawal dismissed rumors about rejecting OMG 2 due to fee issues and said he avoided pursuing the project because the franchise belonged to Akshay Kumar.
