India to issue its largest-ever nuclear tender worth Rs 28,000 crore

India will issue a Nuclear Island EPC tender worth over Rs 28,000 crore for four 700 MWe reactors.

The tender is for the Mahi Banswara Rajasthan Atomic Power Project.

The reactors are part of India's indigenous PHWR programme.

This is the largest-ever nuclear tender issued by India.

The project boosts India's nuclear power expansion.
