Indian-origin athlete run over by drunk driver in Ohio, Warren JFK football community mourns Sarosh Sheth's death

year-old Indian-origin student Sarosh Sheth was killed in Ohio when a Ford Mustang ran him over while he was walking.

The driver sped through an intersection at North High Street, ran a red light, and hit two people on the sidewalk before crashing into a Kroger parking lot.

Sheth, a neuroscience major at Ohio State University, was a former standout soccer player and kicker at Warren JFK High School.

The driver was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence; additional charges may follow pending investigation.

Warren JFK football coach Damon Buente expressed devastation, describing Sheth as embodying family, faith, and service.
