Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman ruled out for four weeks, to miss The Hundred

Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman has been ruled out for four weeks due to a grade 1 muscle tear in his right hamstring and meniscal degeneration in his right knee.

He sustained the injury during the opening ODI of Bangladesh's tour of Zimbabwe and was subsequently ruled out of the second ODI.

Mustafizur will miss The Hundred, where he was set to become the first Bangladesh cricketer to feature in the tournament, signed by Birmingham Phoenix for GBP 100,000.

Birmingham Phoenix have confirmed that a replacement player will be announced.
