India doing well on economic front, has better employment rate: Mansukh Mandaviya

Union minister Mansukh Mandaviya said India is performing well economically and has a better employment rate compared to other countries.

Mandaviya cited 7.7% real GDP growth in 2025-26 and noted that about 15 million youth enter the job market annually.

He highlighted government initiatives including the National Sports University, National Centre for Sports Science and Research, Khelo Bharat Niti, and the National Sports Governance Act.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the NDA lawmakers' meeting, a day after BJP lost Bankipur and Datia but won Manjalpur in by-elections.

Modi asked NDA lawmakers to reach out to youth amid protests over exam paper leaks, which led to education minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation.
