Architects must embrace innovation and emerging technologies, says Sonar

Architect Ar. Ajay Sonar spoke at the eighth edition of ‘Brick 12 on 12’ in Pune, urging architects to combine emerging technologies with creativity and research.

Sonar said architecture today must create sustainable, people-centric, and environmentally responsible spaces that improve quality of life.

The event, organized by Brick Group of Institutes, featured 12 student presentations, an exhibition, alumni meet, expert lectures, and panel discussions.

Architect Ar. Rajeev Vishwasrao encouraged students to balance technical expertise with social responsibility and lifelong learning.

Experts highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary learning, industry readiness, and developing innovative solutions for evolving built environments.
