Elderly man allegedly pushed a cat from the 12th floor of Royal Flora building in Palegaon, Ambernath on July 26 around 5:30 pm.

The cat died on the spot after falling from the 12th floor.

Viral video shows the man approaching the cat on a duct wall and pushing it.

Residents demanded police action, and a case was registered under the Animal Protection Act.
