MCC warns action against illegal drainage connections

Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) warns residential and commercial buildings in Surathkal wards 1-8 with unauthorised underground drainage (UGD) connections must obtain official connections.

Building owners must visit the Surathkal zone office, submit application, pay fees and penalties, and regularise connections within 30 days.

MCC commissioner Ravichandra Naik warns legal action under KMC Act 1976 against those who fail to regularise.
