Bengaluru biryani vendor arrested over 'abusive' reel against PM Narendra Modi during Freedom Park NEET protest

Hudson, a 21-year-old street vendor in Bengaluru, was arrested for an Instagram reel criticizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The reel was made during a NEET protest at Freedom Park, using a friend's phone, and questioned Modi's response to police brutality against protesters.

A complaint was filed by Abilash Reddy M, BJP president of Sarvagnanagar constituency, leading to police action.

Hudson confessed to making the reel and uploading it to his Instagram account 'Madonly__'.

A case was registered under the Information Technology Act and Section 196 (promoting enmity between groups).
