PMC fines 2 renowned bakeries in Salisbury Park for dumping waste into drains

PMC fined Golden Bakery and Indian Bakery ₹25,000 each for dumping waste and discharging untreated drainage water into public drains in Salisbury Park.
The fines were collected on the spot during a special sanitation drive on Tuesday by the Kaspa Peth ward office.
The bakeries illegally released drainage water into nearby drains and nullahs, posing a health risk.
Additional Commissioner Madhav Jagtap and Assistant Municipal Commissioner Timayya Jangale oversaw the drive.
