Wembanyama, of the San Antonio Spurs, is the first Spurs player on an NBA 2K cover and averaged 23.8 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in the 2026 playoffs.

Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever is the first Fever player on a cover, currently averaging 20.7 points and 7.8 assists per game in the WNBA.

Derrick Rose appears for the second time on an NBA 2K cover, previously on NBA 2K13, celebrating his prime and resilience.

NBA 2K27 is set to release in fall 2026, featuring three editions with distinct cover athletes.
