Ahead of 2027 UP polls, BJP unveils Dalit outreach through Sant Ravidas campaign

BJP announced the Shri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Samrasta Sankalp Abhiyan from July 29, 2026 to February 20, 2027, marking Sant Ravidas’ 650th birth anniversary.

The campaign aims to spread Sant Ravidas' message of equality, social harmony, devotion, service, social justice, and humanity across Uttar Pradesh.

BJP Scheduled Caste Morcha national president Lal Singh Arya stated no other party has highlighted figures like Ravidas, Ambedkar, and Birsa Munda.

State BJP chief Pankaj Chaudhary said Sant Ravidas gave self-confidence to deprived communities and taught them to live with dignity.
