Jammu and Kashmir: Properties of 5 Pakistan-based terrorist handlers attached in Reasi

Jammu and Kashmir Police attached properties of five Pakistan-based terrorist handlers in Reasi district on July 30, 2026.

The attached properties belonged to Alaf Din, Ghulam Mohammad, Mohammed Asraf, Shabir Ahmad, and Bahar Din, totaling over 30 kanals of land.

The action was linked to a case under BNS, Unlawful Activities Prevention Act, and Egress and Internal Movement Control Ordinance Act at Mahore Police Station.

Investigations revealed the accused had exfiltrated to Pakistan for terrorist training and now operate as handlers, planning to use the assets for terror financing and coordination.

This is part of ongoing efforts by J&K Police to dismantle cross-border terror networks, following a similar attachment of properties worth Rs 90.7 lakh in Ramban district.
