Bhiwandi building collapse survivor: ‘My children’s education is at stake now’

Arvind Shah, a power loom worker, survived the Bhiwandi building collapse with his wife Sunita Devi and children, but their belongings and documents remain under debris.

Shah's three children are enrolled in a private English school, and their education is now at risk due to financial strain from the collapse.

Their eldest daughter Komal, a Class 9 student at Romeo English High School, dreams of becoming an engineer.

Sunita Devi fears they may not afford school fees and that children won't attend school for months, forcing them to start from scratch.

Shah hopes his children avoid power loom work and break the cycle of poverty through education.
