Mira Road Crane Collapse: Deceased Victims Father Moves Bombay HC, Seeks Builder JP Infra Named In FIR

Aziz Khokar, father of deceased Muzammil Khokar, moved Bombay High Court to seek inclusion of developer JP Infra in FIR for Mira Road crane collapse.

The crane collapse on July 16 at JP North Complex killed Muzammil Khokar and injured two others, damaging vehicles.

FIR was filed against contractor, subcontractor, and safety engineer but excluded JP Infra, prompting legal intervention.

Khokar alleged police deliberately omitted JP Infra due to political pressure, after a five-day hunger strike outside Kashigaon Police Station.

The petition is scheduled for hearing on August 3 in Bombay High Court.
