BJP veteran Murli Manohar Joshi condemned the use of force on student protesters in New Delhi, saying young girls were 'brutally mishandled'.

Joshi called the anxieties over the examination system genuine and urged authorities to handle the situation with empathy and seek a lasting solution.

Joshi warned against treating the protests merely as a law-and-order issue, saying such force could alienate society from the national goal of Viksit Bharat.

The protests were sparked by alleged NEET paper leaks, and the government has sent formal invitations for dialogue with student representatives.
