“Jewellery kept vanishing”: Domestic helper of 20 years arrested for stealing ₹2.65 crore at Sachin Ahir’s Worli home

Pravin Solanki, a domestic helper employed for nearly 20 years at Sachin Ahir's Worli residence, was arrested for stealing valuables worth ₹2.65 crore over three years.

The stolen items included gold and diamond jewellery, silverware, and cash; 325 grams of gold were recovered from a Mumbai jeweler.

The theft was discovered after a piece of jewellery went missing; CCTV footage showed missing portions, raising suspicion.

Three other domestic workers are absconding; the Mumbai Crime Branch is searching for them.
