Certificate row hits DU ECA admissions

Delhi University's ECA admission process faced scrutiny after aspirant Anshika Thakkar alleged that not all her uploaded certificates were considered during verification.

Thakkar uploaded five certificates each for Indian Classical Dance and Theatre but was told only four were available, costing her four marks.

A certificate from a global-level theatre competition was rejected because the event was held virtually.

DU's ECA Admissions Cell stated that only certificates from offline competitions are accepted, and international participation requires a national selection or sponsorship.

Thakkar's social media post has crossed 1.4 lakh views, prompting other applicants to share similar concerns.
