Cardinals break through in 9th, end Blue Jays' streak

The Cardinals snapped a three-game losing streak and ended the Blue Jays' three-game winning streak.

Max Scherzer allowed one run over six innings and is three strikeouts from passing Walter Johnson for 10th on the all-time list.

St. Louis starter Matthew Liberatore threw six scoreless innings with seven strikeouts.
