Manager demands hourly justification from employees

The manager now expects employees to justify exactly 40 hours of work per week, and scheduled meetings do not count toward those hours.

The employee noted that a typical workweek includes meetings, emails, calls, reviews, helping colleagues, and waiting for information, making it impossible to predict or justify every hour of productive work.

The employee feels the system measures how well they can justify being busy for 40 hours, rather than measuring productivity or outcomes.
