Higher educational institutions must intellectually empower students: Rajasthan Governor

Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde said higher educational institutions must focus on intellectually empowering students alongside imparting quality education.
Speaking at Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University's 40th foundation day, Bagde noted over 28,000 students have completed agricultural education there.
Bagde encouraged students to appear for UPSC and RPSC exams and advocated equal opportunities for girls.
He called for a 'copy-free examination' system and highlighted National Education Policy provisions for enhancing students' intellectual capabilities.
Under the India AI Mission, the university has been approved for a Centre of Excellence in agriculture under Industry 4.0 with a ₹20 crore outlay, said Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal.
