Canadian TikToker Rebecca Luna, 49, died through Canada's Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) program on Saturday in British Columbia.
She was diagnosed with young-onset Alzheimer's in 2025 and had built an online following of over 90,000 people documenting her experience.
Luna brought forward her assisted death date due to declining health, stating she could no longer cope with the disease's effects.
Canada's MAID program, introduced in 2016, allows eligible adults to receive medical help to end their lives under strict legal criteria.
