Pune: Fire Brigade Rescues Youth Stranded Amid Strong Water Current Beneath Dangle Bridge

The Pune Fire Brigade rescued a 22-year-old man stranded on a chamber beneath Dangle Bridge on Friday afternoon.

The rescue team from Kasba Fire Station used ropes, a ladder, and life jackets to reach the youth amid strong water currents.

The operation took about 15-20 minutes, and the man was brought to safety without injuries.

The rescued man did not explain how he became stranded, and police have initiated an investigation.

The rescue was carried out by driver Sameer Shaikh and firefighters Samit Dalvi, Ganesh Lonare, Rajendra Mahadik, Prasad Nanekar, Santosh Argade, Pratik Kumbhar, and Atish Naiknavare.
