Nashik: Missing Mans Body Found In Godavari Five Days After Reported Jump From Ramwadi Bridge

Avinash Bapurao Pawar (32), a resident of Krantinagar (Vrindavan Colony, Makhmalabad Road), was found dead in the Godavari River on July 30 after going missing on July 25.

Pawar left home on July 25 morning saying he had a stomach ache and was going to a pharmacy, but never returned; his mobile was switched off.

He reportedly jumped from Ramwadi Bridge and suffered from mental depression.

Search operations were delayed due to flooding, but his body was found floating under the Godavari bridge at Saikheda.

Police have registered a case of accidental death; investigation is ongoing.
