Tom Cruise to appear at 2026 World Cup closing ceremony

FIFA revealed that Tom Cruise will make a special appearance at the 2026 World Cup closing ceremony.

The closing ceremony will take place at New York New Jersey Stadium on July 19, 2026, 90 minutes before the final kick-off.

Performers include Italian singer Laura Pausini, Nicole Scherzinger, Robbie Williams, and IShowSpeed.

Jennifer Hudson will sing the United States national anthem before the match.

The ceremony was produced in collaboration with Balich Wonder Studio and celebrates the first 48-team World Cup hosted across Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
