Expand scope of scholarship scheme to benefit farmers’ children: UP CM Yogi

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath directed officials to expand the Mukhyamantri Krishak Chhatravritti Yojana scholarship scheme for farmers' children.
The Mandi Parishad board approved estimated receipts of ₹2,228.59 crore and expenditure of ₹3,025.49 crore for 2026-27.
The board extended the Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Sahayata Yojana and Mukhyamantri Khet-Khalihan Agnikand Durghatna Sahayata Yojana till June 30, 2030, with ₹30 crore for 2026-27.
Yogi called for modernising mandis with infrastructure like drinking water and sanitation, and promoting agricultural processing units via PPP.
The board approved connecting more mandis to e-NAM, setting up organic certification facilities in every district, and linking farmers to the National Natural Farming Mission.
