Historic! South Africa's Chad le Clos scripts Commonwealth Games record

Chad le Clos became the most decorated male athlete in Commonwealth Games history after winning his 19th medal with bronze in the men's 4x100m freestyle relay.

The 34-year-old South African swimmer surpassed Australian shooter Phil Adams and England's Mick Gault for the record.

Le Clos' Commonwealth medal tally includes seven golds, four silvers, and eight bronzes.

He is set to compete in the 50m and 100m butterfly events at the current Games and aims to compete at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
