Nepal to replace political map with monastery on one-, two-rupee coins

Nepal will replace the political map on one- and two-rupee coins with an image of the 7th-century Lo Gyaker (Ghar) Monastery.

The cabinet approved the design change.

The Nepal Rastra Bank will mint the new coins soon.
