Manipur: Petroleum transporters skip convoy despite govt agreement

Petroleum transporters in Manipur called off their strike after the state government assured enhanced security on NH-37 to curb extortion.

Despite the agreement, the transporters did not join the security convoy, though 150 empty trucks left Imphal with a heavy CRPF escort.
