Anahat Singh crowned world junior squash champion

Anahat Singh, 18-year-old top seed, became the first Indian to win the World Squash Junior Championships title.

She defeated Egypt's Ruqayya Salem 11-3, 11-7, 11-9 in the girls’ final in Canada's Ontario.

Singh had previously fallen short in earlier editions, winning bronze in the last tournament.
