VIDEO: Pune Congress Stages Black Flag Protest Over Jantar Mantar Crackdown

Pune Congress leaders staged a black flag protest outside Raj Bhavan against the alleged police lathi-charge on students at Jantar Mantar and detention of Congress leaders in Delhi.

Protesters demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the NEET paper leak issue.

Pune City Congress President Prashant Jagtap accused the Union government of failing to address irregularities in competitive exams, leading to student suicides.

Protesters also condemned the detention of Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge during a protest at the Prime Minister's residence in Delhi.

Pune City District Congress Committee President Deepti Choudhary called the police action against students 'unjustified' and warned of democratic accountability.
