Anant Raj to demerge data centre biz into separate listed entity

Anant Raj Ltd will demerge its data centre vertical into a separate listed entity, Ashok Cloud Pvt Ltd.

The demerger involves amalgamating subsidiary Anant Raj Cloud Pvt Ltd (ARCPL) into Anant Raj Ltd, then transferring the data centre business to Ashok Cloud.

Existing shareholders of Anant Raj Ltd will receive shares in Ashok Cloud Pvt Ltd as part of the scheme.

The data centre business will operate as a dedicated listed company, separate from Anant Raj Ltd's real estate business.

The demerger is aimed at allowing each vertical to chart its own growth path while leveraging Anant Raj's brand equity.
