Kevin Calabro leaves Blazers after contract dispute

Kevin Calabro left the Portland Trail Blazers after rejecting a “subprime” contract offer from owner Tom Dundon.

Calabro had been the Trail Blazers' TV play-by-play voice since 2016 and plans to seek other NBA or college basketball opportunities.

Radio play-by-play announcer Travis Demers was not offered a new contract; analysts Michael Holton and Tom Haberstroh, and hosts Neil Everett and Jamie Hudson are also no longer with the team.

The television production crew has been reduced, producer Greg Fonseca was not replaced after moving to NBA Broadcasting, and fewer TV graphics are planned for next season.
