Ludhiana: Altercation over school marks triggers assault

An altercation between two teenagers over Class 10 marks escalated into a clash between relatives in Jassowal village.

Rajvinder Singh alleged that Dharamjit Singh, his son, and Sharanjit Singh alias Babbu assaulted him and snatched his gold chain.

Rajvinder and his son went to Dharamjit Singh's house to resolve the dispute but the meeting turned violent.

The Dehlon police registered an FIR under Sections 115(2), 126(2), 351(2), and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Police investigation is ongoing and further action will be taken based on findings.
