Shubman Gill praises middle order for India's six-wicket win vs ENG

India captain Shubman Gill praised the middle order after a six-wicket win over England in the first ODI at Edgbaston.

Chasing 259, Gill scored 80 before retiring.

Axar Patel (57*) and Washington Sundar (52*) guided India to victory.

Gill said the win gives confidence and explained the decision to bowl first was based on batting depth.
