‘After completing Class 12, I got married’: 24-year-old single mom turns to education to rebuild life after separation

Mohana, a 24-year-old single mother, completed her graduation after a difficult separation and is now planning to pursue an MBA.

After finishing Class 12, she got married and had to discontinue studies due to the COVID-19 pandemic, pregnancy, and motherhood.

She scored 467/500 in Class 10 and a CGPA of 9.83 in Class 12.

Her daughter Deeksha started kindergarten while Mohana was in college, and they would go to their educational institutions together.

Mohana's mother supported her by looking after Deeksha during her first and second years of college.
