CBDT notifies new ITR for search, seizure cases under new Income-tax Act

CBDT notified a new income tax return form for block assessments under the Income-tax Act, 2025.

The new ITR applies to search and seizure cases under the new Act.

The rules take effect retrospectively from April 1, 2026.
