Michael Dell shares 1984 Dell earnings document

Michael Dell posted on X the Dell Computer Corporation earnings statement for three months ending July 31, 1984.

The statement showed total revenue of $888,821 and gross profit of $198,367.

Dell said the document convinced his parents he should not return to college.

Dell started the company at age 19 from a University of Texas at Austin dorm room.

The post noted Dell Technologies now helps build AI infrastructure, from edge to large AI factories.
