Rajasthan teacher suspended for making girl students remove clothes for search

Teacher Saraswati Meena at Government Senior Secondary School in Livali, Sawai Madhopur, was suspended for making Class 9 and 11 girls remove clothes during a search after ₹1,000 went missing.

Villagers and parents protested and locked the school gate after the allegations surfaced.

The education department suspended Meena and initiated disciplinary action against the school principal.

Meena denied the allegations, claiming she only questioned students, but students and families said the strip search caused mental distress.
