CRPF officer kills two colleagues, injures one before killing self in Assam

A CRPF officer, Assistant Sub-Inspector (GD) Ballani Premabaram, allegedly shot and killed two colleagues and injured one before killing himself at the CRPF's 34 Battalion camp in Katimari, Nagaon, Assam, at around 7 am.

The deceased colleagues are Head Constable (GD) Vishnu Prasad Baghel and Sub-Inspector (GD) Ramnawal Singh Yadav.

Assistant Sub-Inspector (Mane) Govind Sripul was injured and admitted to a private hospital for treatment.

The incident occurred while Premabaram was on duty at the main gate; he turned the weapon on himself and died at the spot.
