Young scientist found dead in Lucknow hotel

A 22-year-old drone innovator and young scientist was found dead in a Lucknow hotel in the Vibhuti Khand area.

He had gained national recognition for developing an eco-friendly battery-powered tractor and worked on drone technology.

The scientist was associated with the Design Innovation and Incubation Centre at Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Gorakhpur.

He won top honors at the India International Science Festival for three consecutive years starting at age 13, with projects including a roti maker (2018), battery-powered bicycle (2019), and battery-operated tractor (2020).

Police are investigating; the cause of death will be determined after post-mortem.
