1Password Lets Claude AI Access Your Accounts Without Revealing Passwords

Password introduced 1Password for Claude, an integration that lets Anthropic's Claude AI sign into websites without accessing the user's passwords or OTPs.

The feature uses biometric approval to securely fill credentials from a user's 1Password vault.

Password also announced Agentic Mode, which restricts AI agents to approved credentials during browser sessions.

The integration is available for Mac users on Business, Family, and Individual plans, with support for more data types planned later.
