The Delhi health department appointed three officers to handle DGHS and DMC affairs in the absence of the DGHS director.
The officers are the medical director of Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, the medical superintendent of Dr Hedgewar Arogya Sansthan, and the medical superintendent of Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital.
The appointments aim to address delays in DMC services, including doctor registration, no-objection and good-standing certificates, and handling misconduct complaints.
The DMC was dissolved by former Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena over alleged irregularities, and DGHS chief Dr Sushma Jain currently holds the post.
Doctors and foreign medical graduates have protested delays in registration and licensing with the DMC.
