Jolie, Blanchett appeal for refugee protections as UN convention turns 75

Angelina Jolie and Cate Blanchett called for refugee protections to be upheld.

The appeal coincided with the 75th anniversary of the UN Refugee Convention.

Archbishop of Canterbury Sarah Mullally also participated in the appeal.

The UN decried mounting pressure on asylum systems globally.
