Bring a python, get a pizza: A Florida restaurant is giving away free 'python pizza' if you bring a Burmese python caught in the Everglades

Wildman's Pizza in Everglades City offers a free 'python pizza' to anyone who brings in a Burmese python caught during the 2026 Florida Python Challenge.

Health regulations prevent the restaurant from selling python pizza, so it is given away free of charge to support invasive species removal.

The Florida Python Challenge runs from July 10 to July 19, 2026, organized by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) with cash prizes up to $10,000.

Burmese pythons are invasive in Florida, having bred in the wild after escapes or releases, and they cause significant damage to native wildlife in the Everglades.
